I just finished a PT program at InMotion and I wanted to share some feedback.
I recently sustained a fairly severe foot/ankle injury while running. The pain was so great that I could barely walk. Despite my requests for pain killers, my doctor prescribed only physical therapy. I had recently moved to the area and didn’t know where to turn so I chose InMotion because of the convenient location and hoped for the best.
I am no stranger to physical therapy since I played ice hockey on and off for 26 years. Over that time I have seen probably more than two dozen different physical therapy and sports medicine specialists for injuries to almost every body part. I was anxious about this latest injury because it impacted my mobility so much and I’ve had very bad experiences with physical therapists in recent years.
I am very lucky to have made a great choice.
Elizabeth Fish is by far the best physical therapist I’ve ever worked with. Her analysis of my injury was excellent and she helped me regain most of my mobility in the first few visits. Over two months, Elizabeth continued to impress me with her attention to detail, professionalism and stamina as she often worked with several patients simultaneously. At no point did I fee like I wasn’t getting enough personal attention. In fact, my therapy was the most personalized and effective I’ve ever received.
Elizabeth’s consistent positive attitude and focus were the keys to my morale and my successful treatment. She even worked with my insurance company to make sure I was getting as much care as possible. It was clear she was going above and beyond for me and I greatly appreciated it.
Yesterday was my last visit and I’m pleased to say that I’m fully recovered. I will definitely be recommending Elizabeth Fish and InMotion to my friends and family.
Please keep up the good work and give Elizabeth and the rest of your staff my thanks.
In the beginning of May, I began to have knee pain. On the weekend of May 17th. I had to stop during a training run because the pain was so bad. On May 20th, I emailed Dr. Meyer (Christine Meyer, MD and Associates) in a panic. I thought my race season was over. That same day Dr. Meyer replied and sent me to see Kristy Harper at (In Motion Physical Therapy and Fitness Center). I saw Kristy on Thursday, May 22nd. Ten days later I raced in the Black Bear Triathlon and finished. Today, as I write this, I feel confident in my ability to complete and be competitive in my first Ironman 70.3. This is undoubtedly a result of the fast action of Dr. Meyer and the magical hands of Kristy Harper. This isn’t the first time the pair has worked together to get me back into ‘fighting shape’ but they certainly earned a lifetime of loyalty and a vocal advocate for their services, which are second to none.

Excellent caring and knowledgeable staff. This facility has physical therapy upstairs and a fitness center downstairs.
The front staff gets all the details from your insurance and is upfront with patient financial responsibility. Many dedicated therapists, with patients of all ages and conditions make this an active environment of physical improvements and healing.
This group of Therapist are just wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and really work hard to understand your injury and help you get better. I love the office staff and they always greet you with a smile and are very helpful with insurance issues. Such a great PT facility.
My husband and I have used In Motion many times over the years due to various physical problems and injury. In Motion treated me for knee replacement and did it in a very effective and professional manner. (My surgeon highly recommends In Motion.) The staff are all very well trained respectful and every patient is treated for their specific physical problem. This is not a “one size fits all” physical therapy facility. We drive 45 minutes to get there because we would not consider going anywhere else.
If I could give In Motion a 10 star rating I would. I cannot say enough about the staff, their professionalism, and the high level of expertise/knowledge. I had rotator cuff surgery in May, and now have full function of my right shoulder. I’ve met other people that have not gone through therapy like I had, and don’t have half the mobility. I saw Kristy, and instead of feeling like PT was a drag, it was a joy. She provided outstanding care, and I feel like I have a life long friend. The people at In Motion really care about you. I highly recommend In Motion. They are the BEST!
I hurt my ankle by over-training for upcoming running events. Been running 15 years, never had a problem and I’ve never been to PT. I called In-Motion based on location and what I read online. They got me in for an appt. with Jason that day I called. I’ve been back twice since then and am delighted! Jason gives me his full time attention for the hour+ I am there. He explains what’s going on with my ankle and varies the treatment accordingly. I always leave with my ankle taped up, advice, and a growing list of exercises to do at home to strengthen my ankle as well other muscles to prepare for my events (10 miler, then a marathon). Yes, the PT’s are busy and see multiple patients at a time, but there are many assistants to check on you and they only move to another person while your waiting thru a treatment (i.e. timed 10 minute wrap). They are efficient but I never feel forgotten. After my experience thus far, I have decided to bring my kids here for some help. My insurance sucks so I do self-pay. The cost is very fair for the service and it’s working to get me back running again.
Everyone at In Motion Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation is incredibly kind and helpful. Kristy has been amazing in her support and knowledge in alleviating the pain caused by stresses and strain of daily life that settle into tension in the shoulders, neck and back. Along with many, I highly recommend In Motion Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation!
I live an active life. My wife and i both work and have varied and busy work schedules, she is an avid runner and loves yoga too, we have two young children, and me well i have a love of cycling, kayaking, hiking and gardening.
In 2013 I rode more than 2,000-miles on the bike and successfully trained and completed my first Century Bike Ride. In the process, I rode 3-4 times a week from April-August, including local rides like the French & Pickering Creek Iron Tour Ride, and Chester Co. Challenge Ride for Cancer, etc., and then a 102.5-mile JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes last July in Vermont.
In the Fall of 2013, I almost was roadkill by someone driving on the wrong side of the road. I suffered from a hard crash to the ground and injuries to my hip and shoulder.
Kristy and all the folks at In-Motion Physical Therapy were there to assist in getting me back on my feet, and back on my bike. They worked with me to professionally assess and develop an action plan to help me start to heal and gain mobility back.
In-Motion are a great group of folks very much focused on working their hardest to get you back to yourself whatever life throws at you. 🙂
My experience at In Motion Physical Therapy was truly the best!! I had several complications with my ACL surgery and required a little more time and attention as I was on my road to recovery. John, my main therapist, was awesome! He helped me recover way faster than was expected and always made sure I was feeling okay throughout the process. I had to see some other therapists when John wasn’t available and they always treated me like I was their patient from the start. They took the time to understand my injury, see where I was with my recovery, and made sure I achieved my goals for that session. Everyone at In Motion PT made me feel like family from the second I walked in the door and as happy I am I am to not need PT anymore, I sure do miss them!! This is the place you want to go to when you need physical therapy and rehabilitation!!
Years ago I was referred to In Motion from my doctor and couldn’t have been more grateful for that advice. Kristy has always been a fantastic physical therapist and truly cares for her patients. I have been to her for two previous injuries and she was able to help me tremendously. Recently I needed therapy again and choose to go to another therapist due to the proximity to my work. That therapist only lasted one visit for me. I said to my sister she is not Kristy and has no idea what she is doing so I knew I would not be happy with anyone else but Kristy. I knew to get the proper therapy I needed it had to be from the best therapist around that I know. Their hours are very accommodating and the staff are very friendly and always willing to help you out. If you are looking for a great place for therapy then In Motion should be who you call.
Great experience as a patient. Very personable staff and they took the time to attend to my specific needs. I had back pain for a while and went to a chiropractor, who couldn’t help. I came to InMotion and within my first 2 weeks, Jason was able to diagnose and resolve my back pain!
I started In Motion because of a problem with my knee and hips. Kristy took the time to do a very thorough exam and could tell me what the plan was to get me pain-free soon. I could get my appointments planned in a way that also works with my schedule and I could plan ahead for a few weeks, which makes it very easy to plan my own work schedule. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to help, they know all their patients by name an greet them very friendly and welcoming.
I would highly recommend @InMotion PT to anyone who needs this. My doctor at the Orthopedic clinic highly recommended In Motion to me and I’m glad she did! What is very important to me personally, is that In Motion is very involved in all kinds of charity activities in our community and it shows to me that Brock and Kristy care very much about people in our area.
Amanda was amazing. No rote menus for this group. Personalized care and good understanding of the root issues. Staff very friendly.
Caring and compassionate staff. They listen to you and understand where you want to get back to after an injury! I was in a car accident and underestimated my need to PT, until I came to In Motion. Kristy Harper spent time on me to get me better and fit me and my busy schedule into her ultra busy schedule! I highly recommend this facility for physical therapy!
5 of my 7 family members have used In Motion for 4 different types of Injuries or post Surgery rehab. There was never an issue with wait time or quality of care. I always felt my children were in the hands of competent, compassionate Therapists. The exercises given to be completed at home were realistic and could easily be completed. I appreciated the conversation at each appt with the therapist. They would ask myself or my child many details about the time that had passed since our last appointment, to give them a clear picture of how he or she was progressing. I am a health professional and I can say their professionalism and knowledge base always impressed me. I have strongly recommended and will continue to recommend In Motion to my friends as well as their children!
I refer many patients to In Motion because they consistently provide excellent care, great communication, and get my patients in quickly. I appreciate having such outstanding service available right down the street.
My dad and I have both received PT services at In Motion. We will never go anywhere else. The caring and dedicated staff works diligently to help you through your recovery. They are sympathetic to your pain and attentive to your needs. My father, whom is in his 60s, suffered from more severe injuries (ranging from leg/foot surgeries to back injuries). Every time he finished a course of treatment following an injury, we were amazed at the level of functioning he was able to regain. I would recommend In Motion in the highest regards.
I have been a client at In Motion for back issues visiting off and on for many years. Recently I had my hip replaced. Kristy’s expertise, encouragement and “push” helped me make great progress in my rehab. I am forever grateful for all of the wonderful staff at In Motion and I highly recommend In Motion to anyone in need of physical therapy. There is no better place!
