A unique feature of the facility includes a state-of-the art, heated, therapeutic pool, ideal for those with arthritis, stiffness and pain. The pool is an ideal medium for exercise, minimizing the stress from land based programs, and maximizing the benefits of the heat which include increased bloodflow to the muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints. There are areas that are furnished with massaging jets for their therapeutic value. There are also Endless Pool units that allow for uninterrupted swimming at an adjustable pace similar to a treadmill but for swimming. The benefits derived from pool based therapy and fitness programs are significant, making therapy comfortable and enjoyable.
