She graduated from Gettysburg College magna cum laude with a BA in Health and Exercise Science.  She went on to attend the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, receiving a Master’s in Physical Therapy. She has worked in Philadelphia and surrounding areas in outpatient orthopedics since graduating from UNC.  She has taken continuing education coursework focusing on manual therapy, specifically Maitland philosophy and sports injuries. She completed her studies to become an orthopedic clinical specialist this past year.  Stephanie enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses, with a focus on joint mobilization and manual therapy techniques including Maitland and McKenzie approach.   She is focusing on continued education for advancing her manual therapy skills.  She was a guest lecturer at the University of Maryland teaching a course for undergraduate studies called “Fitness and Exercise Prescription”.  Stephanie enjoys working out, pilates, yoga, spending time with her family and friends and traveling. </p>

Liz has a BS in Health Science from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. She completed her graduate work at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She performed internships at St. Margaret Mercy, Ingalls Memorial, RUSH Medical Center and Children’s Memorial. Liz worked at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. She has experience with inpatient rehab and acute trauma working with patients with traumatic brain injuries, CVAs, and spinal cord injuries. Liz was part of the LVAD and Heart Transplant Committee where she assisted with pre-surgical consultation and post-surgical reconditioning. She has been working at In Motion with a specialization in pediatrics, orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, and patients with neurological impairments. Liz’s sunny disposition is a ray of sunshine in her patient’s day. </p>

John graduated cum laude from the University of Delaware in 1996 with a degree in biology. He then graduated from the University of Delaware’s PT program in 1998. John completed a sports physical therapy fellowship at Duke University in 2001. He became certified as an athletic trainer by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association in 2002. In 2004, he became board certified as a sports clinical specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. John has spoken at the national meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections on both shoulder and knee topics. He has an interest in all of orthopedics, but especially enjoys working with sports medicine patients. John lives in southern Chester County with his wife and 2 children. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, golfing, and biking. </p>

Jason has worked in the outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting since becoming a physical therapist. He has experience in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and has been certified in the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment approach for addressing impairments in the spine. He is pursuing his orthopedic clinical specialist certification. Jason enjoys treating all musculoskeletal disorders including the spine and TMJ. He has presented to groups both large and small regarding the benefits of physical therapy and exercise. On a personal level Jason, his wife and two small boys live in Coatesville. He enjoys staying active outdoors, sports, and spending time with his family. </p>

He then attended Temple University and earned a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy. Jeff was a member of the sports medicine staff for the Penn State football and wrestling teams. He was the head of sports medicine for the National Champion Penn State Men&#8217;s Volleyball team in 1994. At Temple University he conducted research regarding the relationship between computer mouse activity and repetitive trauma disorders. This research was presented at the National American Physical Therapy Conference in Washington D.C.. He has also trained at the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University Sports Medicine, and in outpatient orthopaedics in Utah. He has taken coursework with the American Sports Medicine Institute. Jeff is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. He was awarded the AMBUCS scholarship in 1996, 1997, and 1998. His primary areas of specialty and interest are orthopaedics and sports medicine including treatment of shoulder, knee, and other joint dysfunctions. Jeff was an adjunct faculty member for the past 2 years in the graduate physical therapy program at Widener University.</p>

Kristy has pursued continuing education in various fields with a special interest in sports medicine, biomechanics, gait dysfunction, manual therapy, women&#8217;s health and post mastectomy rehabilitation. She is currently working on her doctorate in physical therapy from Drexel University and a specialist certification in orthopedics from the American Physical Therapy Association.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="bio-p"><img class="bio-img" title="Brock Harper" src="/wp-content/uploads/BrockHarper-sfw.jpg" alt="Brock Harper" width="187" height="196" /><span class="bio-name">Brock Harper, MPT:</span> Brock Harper is one of the directors of In Motion and has been with In Motion from the start. He grew up in California and received his B.S. degree in Biomechanics from the University of California at Davis. He then attended graduate school at Hahnemann University and received his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1998. In the beginning of his career Brock worked in rehabilitation units dedicated to spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, amputee patients, pulmonary and cardiac diagnosis, and neurological diagnosis including stroke, MS, and Guillain-Barré Syndrome. He has worked in all types of settings that physical therapy is performed. Most of Brock’s experience is in the outpatient setting which he enjoys immensely. He has taken extensive continuing education in the spine, shoulder, knee, ankle, hip, hand, and ankle/foot. Brock believes in an ongoing education that is continuously evolving. Brock enjoys sharing his career path with his wife as well as being the father of 3 children. When he has spare time, he enjoys the diversions of wood working and sports with his kids. </p>
